Jasper freezing issue, maynot due to rgh mod

Try reflashing it with Dashlaunch 2.27 some people have been having problems with 2.29, I had one I was having freeze problems and I reflashed to 2.27 and it cleared it up.

The DL2.29 freezing issues were mainly due to contpatch being on. Just set it to off/false and the freezing should stop (if it is a DL issue).

finally got some time to look at this, Its on stock dash now with CR removed, but still freezes, any ideas? seems a shame to throw a jasper board away.

How are you getting on with this Sean? Just out of interest, when yours freezes does your console power on ok afterwards or does it appear unresponsive; green light on cool runner, amber on psu but no response to eject or power button? Just trying to diagnose similar myself.

not been on for a while I know, dont get much spare time these days! Anyway, I have fixed the freezing issue, siimply by using the the LMR-100A cable! Its now been on for hours without a single freeze!

I have also experienced freezing issues with three Jaspers I have here, which is odd because I have done dozens of Jaspers without an issue. During boot logo it will lag and glitch out, flicker, and then black screen. Initially I thought it was the REV C so I put a REV B in there, then a REV A, and still having issues. I have tried everything so far and still cannot figure it out.

EDIT: I remember reading about freezing issues, went over the forums again and found this, it worked!

#1 If your glitch times are fast but your console freezes at random points, replace the onboard 100nF cap with a 680pF cap (Credits to socalbill)

Consoles are booting great now. I ending up leaving CAP enabled and added the 680pF in-line on RST (RGH 1.0) and the consoles are booting perfectly.

thats good to hear, unfortunatley after rebooting mine and playing a game it freezes after a few minutes of play! Loosing my rag with it now, its about to hit the BIN

I also tried going back to stock nand but it rrod's, which is odd. not got secondary code yet as it has custom ROL and no fault lights, but i bet its 0022!

Like you I have dones loads of jaspers and not had anything like!

I am still having this issue with two Jasper's. Tried REV A to C, it works fine stock. Tried caps, thought the 680pF worked but it didn't.
