RGH Jasper Isnt Glitching

hey guys, sorry to bother you, but this is my first rgh, actually my first time to mod a jtag :facepalm:, anyways, i installed the QSB, read the nand perfect, wrote the ecc file, and flashed the coolrunner, with the nandx to coolrunner cable, booted the console to find it aint glitching, its not a big block jasper, just 16mb​

i used latest jtag tools, by coolshrimp 4.25 , and used the coolshrimp coolrunner programmer as well.​

tried doing my connections over and over it aint glitchin no matter what, returned the original nand and console boots no problem, but when i write the ecc file, the coolrunner keeps blinking green and i hear the fans making a bit of a aghhhhhhhhhhhh sound :biggrin:​

the rpm of it increases then decreases, so sum up i took a few pics, not high res , iphone style , i hope someone can spot what i missed​

my soldering skills aint that perfect, but i didnt mess up anything, and it looks clean i guess :crazy:​

i also attached how i wired at the back, and taped it till it works and then hot glue it​

i will try tommorow to get the capacitors, also which values should i get im clueless at these stuff :biggrin: but in the mean while anything helpfull will be great​

Is the green light blinking every 4-5 seconds? Also, did you check to make sure that your CB is 6751 or 6750? If you did all of that then take a look here : (Link)

Double check your PLL_Bypass (green wire) one of your pictures looks like the end of the wire is just grazzing a nearby resistor or a pad.

my cb is actually 6751, when using multibulider it says it will use a doner cb and then hangs

so i used jtag tools but it didnt mention anything bout that

i just wrote the original image with coolrunner attached it booted, im not sure but i guess if something was wrong with it it wouldnt have botted, i mean bad connection or so.

any way it flashes every 4-5 seconds yes

i guess the problem is with the ecc, cause its 6751

i would have to say it does look vary close to the resistor

here are far better pictures zoomed in and good shot, of everything even the point i messed up, which i think can be saved, if someone can find what was causing the CR not to glitch i will be thankfull

will try it on another jasper when i wake up, till i see what is wrong with this dude

I can bet it most likely your .ecc file than your soldering. If you can repair that point you messed up try using multibuilder v0.2 to create your .ecc

well actually i will go give it to some pro, i had enough with this mobo, 6 hours trying the heck out of it and nothin, and finally a point messed up which the alt is a pain in the ass :S

will fix it and try multibulider 0.2

0.3 made me an ecc file which didnt make the CR glitch at all

returned the stock nand, and tried booting 3 red rings

guess the point is all gone and have to go with alt point

one thing though

i dont get, i get the alternative point etc.. but where to i solder the cable to the coolrunner

to the new point beside the cpu

Use the fix first, then just solder the PLL_Bypass to that wire you used to do the fix. Should work just fine..just take your time.

ok sure, i will give it today to some pro actually dont wanna mess anything else,

does the damaged point lead to the 3 red rings right

also i just glitched a falcon and works perfect

didnt use qsbs or anything works as planned

will fix the point and try thx
