I just got my tools to do my first rgh2.

I have a jasper, wired up the nand x. Soldering looks fine
When i start j-runner. It downloads all these files

when i click "read nand", box comes up to select which motherboard. When i click the jasper version i have. J-runner says "jasper manually selected"
It stops there and then does nothing

Am i missing somthing?

Sounds like you dont have it wired/soldered correctly otherwise it should read your nand header and know it's a jasper. Post pics of your install please.

Can you please zoom out so we can see which wires from your nand-x are going where? Hard to tell since they are all the same color. Are you using flux? Doesnt appear so. You could stand to clean up the solder points you have.

It should also be noted that sometimes JR does this and other weird things. A simple restart of the app might fix your problem.

Please post a screenshot of JRunner with your nand-x connected. I assume you've installed the proper drivers?

soldering is poor, too much exposed wire could be shorting, your in real danger of blowing your SPI there mate.

have you checked the underside of the board at those points to see if your wires are touching anything or each other?

there should be no wire exposed AT ALL. trim the wire short tin the point and slide the wire into the hole until the insulation meets the solder.

should look like this
