jasper not booting after writing xell

i have just bought a jtaggable jasper

It is a 16mb not a big block

I have read the nand twice and both have no bad blocks, but when i write xell to the xbox it wont switch on

If i write the original nand back to the xbox it boots fine, this is the first jasper ive jtagged so im not sure whats wrong with it

I have checked my soldering and its fine, i have also wrote xellous and still the same

Dont know if it makes a difference im using a nand x

check ur jtag wires. if there not gettting connection it will give u a black screen

a console not switching on at all after a xell write or any nand write from what i've found is usually because the wrong image was used

double check your xell image thats its the 16mb version and not the BB

im using coolshrimp 2.76 and yes im using 16mb jasper files and aud_clamp&dvd_tray points

have to agree with ando2k9, not switching on at all is bad nand image or bad smc. Do you only get the single green light in the middle of the RF board?

what i'd suggest is

get a new xell image with the alt points and try it through command prompt yourself rather than letting the app do it for you

try using coolshrimp 2.20 ive had the same problem using the newer version of coolshrimp tool on all my lastest jtags.. used ver 2.20 and there was no probs...

oh and remember to use the avi cables and not hdmi

yes jtag tool 2.20 should fix all your problems.

dunno if this is relevant but have you check the cb?

just because it's a jasper it may have been updated

might not be correct but worth a double check

then it seems its not the software problem...

you need to go back to the beginning again... flash the nand with your orignal read...

does it boot ?

run the nand image thru 360 Flash Tool... whats the CB revision ? is it exploitable ?

if thats not the problem then you need to check your jtag wiring and your nandx wiring..

the dash when i got it was 6717 and now is 7371 which i updated using the files from these forims

i dont think it's his wiring tbh if it was he'd be recieving e79 errors or black screens from his posts it's more like a bad nand flash or wrong image

but just wondering when you flashed xell did you disconect power supply after and leave for more than 30 secs ?

never have removed the power supply and never had any problems

I switched the points to aud_clamp and my mate emailed me this link

i placed the files form above link in to the xell folder and now get e79 error after flashing.

Apparently the above files are for original points which i will try again in the morning and get back to you
