ANSWERED Jasper not booting into Xell

The pics from the solderpoints from the top are still the same (page 1 of this topic). I have only removed the orange wire from the qsb.

not yet. Do you think the qsb is the problem ? This will be the next step, if I dont't get better suggestions.

Comming back to my initial post: Does anybody think that the problem might be a shorted circuit near the AV-port ?

Sorry last answer was for DayvG's post.

It takes about 7 Seconds, then the DVD opens and the RRoD starts. Before that it is blinking green.

Why does the DVD tray open??? Something not right here.

Did you test the console before flashing anything to it? My roadmap for noobies is there for a reason.

I don't know why. I made everything according to this tut:

The only problem I had, was toching the board near the AV-port (as I tried to explain in post #1). Don't you think this might cause the problem ?

No idea - you've screwed something up, that's for sure.

Get some desoldering braid, good flux and a hot iron. Remove as much solder from the QSBs as you can and pray it works.
