So a few weeks ago I r-jtagged my jasper and everything went well, no problems. 2 Days ago my was playing around with my cod ghosts XRPC tool... I was experimenting with some offsets and my xbox kept freezing because the offsets weren't right. I had to press the power button twice to turn the console off... after a few times of doing this my console stopped booting dash and xell, I opened it up and when i powered the console on the r-jtag chip the DBG light would flash once and no more... I thought maybe the chip was faulty so I fitted a spare and I also used a new post out wire. The console still would not boot, I removed the chip and reflashed the nand back to stock and the console booted fine. Im not sure why it wont boot, im completely confused... also now the chip flashes green a few times but eventually stops and dosent boot. any help if appreciated.

Here are some install photos and info:

There's very little anyone can advise you. The standard kit is for people who have a J-RP v2 already.
How much would you charge for a "repair", to restore it to working order?
It would probbably be easier to send it to Bl4key as I am in the north west as he is.

It all depends what's wrong with it. Repairs start from £30.

You say its a Jasper, you have your R-jtag setup for Jasper (dip 7-8 on) but jrunner reports that its a Falcon/Opus. Are you confused?

Also the game you was playing around it is released tomorrow.

Of course - that's what the RATER is for.
Ok, well I shall get one... What could possibly be wrong with it? Like would bit be a hardware error or image error chip error? Please give an example of what it could be.

Thanks

Since you tried two different chips then you have damaged your motherboard or a bad install.

Also, I know with r-jtags the RF board plays up sometimes but now whenever I try to boot it the rf board always goes crazy? could that explain anything?

It does this if you dont use aud_clamp option.

Well you tell me if its a bad install? it was working good, im a relitavley good solderer, ive done over 25 consoles and rarely have a problem.... Also the console boots fine do stock so I dont think it is the motherboard that is a problem... Im just really confused with this one.

Untill there are better clearer pictures of your install its hard to say, but what i do know is that a bad install can work for a while. I also know theres a very small chance that your chip died and that the replacement also was faulty. Not all solder spots are critical for booting your stock nand. I can also tell from the picture of your chip that you are using too much solder on the solderpoints.
