hello everyone i'm trying to see if i missed everything but i've done probably hundreds by now (rgh, jtag)... anyways... i can't boot into xell with this falcon i'm using a 10 ohm resistor, but no shielded cable, and i did change all the points, my soldering is ok for sure..... tried few diff. timing files first b, then c, now will try d.... and i will rewrite clean nand ( does anyone think it would be a good idea to get the ecc file from 360 multibuilder or from jrunner ?)

sorry it's FALCON board.

All help requests require pics of soldering work. Pretty sure Martin made it a sticky thread in this forum.

Only thing I can suggest without seeing pics is to try different resistor values.

here are some pics of what i did, i used a microscope so might be a little too close.... i just don't get why i can't get into xell, and i followed a through z... and i'm seeing people post the same thing all over different forums.

ohh... btw. i read somewhere else to remove cap.15 ( i have rev.b.) i did it but it doesn't do anything , doesn't help, and it's not worse... this stuff is still really buggy... i hate these asswipes stealing your code and then team-x being forced to release early.... it's b.s.

you say your soldering is pretty good ? i say the opposite actually. you've go good clean shiny solder but you have far too much bare cable showing.

Flash back your nanddump and start again from the start.

I use JRunner and have had no problems, just make sure power isnt connected to mobo when flashing coolrunner.

p.s Is your coolrunner green light flashing as if its trying to glitch ?

dale:wink:

yes it's lighting up, and the debug light goes on.... dude i use a sh*tload of flux so say whatever you want about my soldering (it always worked for me in the past) ... and now me and thousands others can't do it just at the time the rgh2.0 came out.... come on now.... it might have worked on your box, but it sure as h**l don't wanna work on mine.

he just trying to help you no need to be rude, as i can see and i am a noob your soldering need just a little clean up. Maybe start again with the wires & soldering to, that what i would do but am not you.
So you do as you see fit but take what people say to you as advice it will help in the end. hope you get this sorted.

In your Nand
You sir need flux, start all over and program again. Use j-Runner and if things dont turn out well then we require a log. You should be fine and a clean job does the job...makes it safe for the mobo and good presentation :)

If you dont want any advice then why bother asking ?

look here: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81105

Martin C has made some excellent vid's on soldering the wires etc. You could learn something.

:rolleyes2:
