Got connected. I may have forgoten last night to shut off my smart firewall. is the xell bins that I'm looking for going to be in the zip file call XeLLous_v1.0.zip?
No - Xellous is an upgrade to XeLL, but you still need the right SMC and Xell build to use it.
The file you want is
/XBOX 360/development/free60/images/Jasper_6723_hack_256MB_512MB.rar
unrar and program to your NAND.
You don't need Xellous at this stage but if you wanted to use it (means you can connect to httpd to get your CPU key and a full dump of the rest of the NAND should you want it), download the XeLLous in /XBOX 360/development/XeLLous/ and unrar.
Then use NANDPro to write it to your NAND:
nandpro usb: +W16 xell-1f.bin 30
note the + and the capital W - they're important.
db1f1 has nothing to do with reading and writing of the NAND. However if you're having problems with it, it may explain why you're not booting properly.
Tips for soldering small objects:
1. flux both objects.
2. pre-tin both objects (a tiny amount of solder and quickly does it).
3. apply more flux to the smallest object - in this case, db1f1.
4. place the wire on top of db1f1.
5. put your iron on the wire itself. There will be enough heat to melt the solder underneath. remove the iron once the solder on db1f1 melts.
it's easy - it just takes good technique and practice.
