I wanted to flash a D2S today.
Read out the key went fine.
Then after everything was loaded up and i attempted to erase the drive.
It failed, and suddenly the drive was gone.
Now it won't detect the drive anymore.
Will not open up either when i try to open it with CK3.

Followed the guide step by step, but on the erase part it went wrong.
Even though i did exactly as said.

I am guessing the drive is bricked.

What? They will be empty since you erased the drive and there is no longer FW on it. As stated intro your drive from the MTK Flash 32 tab and write the FW as normal.

Must be doing something wrong.
When i hit intro/device ID i just get a "device intro failed" error after a few minutes of trying.
FWTool32 files are loaded.

Just noticed also that my CK3 Mini wont stay on, when the drive is connected.
When i disconnect the power cable from the dvd to the ck3 it turns on.
But once plugged back in the green light goes back out again.
When i turn it on/off you see the green light blink once and thats it.

Tried that a minute ago.
Drive returned Status 0x80
....................
Device Intro failed!

Which was the same error when i tried the very first time after reading out the key.

Yeah X360 USB Pro, CK3 mini and the probe 3

---------- Post added at 11:20 ---------- Previous post was at 11:17 ----------

Is it normal for the CK3 Mini to be turned off(or appears to be at least).
When i power cycle it, i can see the green led go on for 1 sec and back off.

Waiting 5 sec between on/off is not working either.

Ensure usb only is ticked (if using usb pro) if not select correct port.
Re intro drive.
power cycle (turn off the drive and back on)

It should be back with status 0x72 vendor mode.

A copy of your jungleflasher logs would be helpfull also if that fails. Could also try another sata lead

Yeah i think it goes wrong because the CK3 mini is not staying powered on.
I honestly did not pay attention if it did that the first time also when i did the very first erase.
But i know for a fact that it did not go OFF during the key extraction.
Flashed a other LT few weeks ago and had no problems with it.

It's powered by the Molex power supply.
Tried a little cable without the probe in between.
But gave the same problem, CK3m turning on/off.
Only does it when the drive is connected, as soon as i unplug it its turned on again.

Gonna try a different SATA cable, but don't think that works.
Since the CK3 Mini stays off when i unplug the current one.
Only when unplugging the power cable does it go back on.

Different sata does not work either.
One thing i did notice was when i leave the power cable unplugged longer it stays on longer also.
But not long enough to do the whole procedure.
