GENERAL JR programer dead, help hard wiring Coolrunner cable to Nand-x

my stupid JR programmer no longer powers on at all. sigh

I only used it to program coolrunners as my nand-x cable broke too.

has anyone got the link or a pic how to solder the wires directly to the nand-x, can't seem to find it anymore now the cable is readily available

got orders to make up today and am holiday from thursday so cannot wait for a new wire.

I think you mean the NAND-x programming cable?

You still need the larger connector to use the points. Failing that, you can make a programmer cable.

the points on the nand-x that the pins match up? (on the longest port on the side can't see a image in J-runner

First rule of offering a service is to always have contingency. I have 2 programmer cables from NAND-x to CR. I also have an LPT cable which I built before T-X commerically supported CPLD programming.

basically this is what I have left.

I thought I could take the port off above the wire and solder the wires straight to the nand-x?

got nothing left to fit in the port and no time to wait for a new cable

well I thought my JR runner would live for more than 3 months

been through so many of these cables now

Since you're getting through cables like they're going out of fashion, I can only assume that misuse is a contributory factor to your J-R Programmer not working.

Ive 2 JRP's, 1 nandx v3, 1 olimex, 1 pic18f vertsion and had 2 nandx die xD
