Is that upgrade board making good contact with the IC pin and the MOSI pin?

What happens when you press the reset button?
I sure hope it is since I bought it that way lol, but when I press reset it restarts it but will still show red no matter what. I'm not sure why Windows won't let me install the other drivers. It sets it as USB Input and when I go to update the drivers it says they are up to date.

Also uninstalling the drivers does nothing.

Are you using a USB Hub. I had this issue using my both my USB Hubs (powered and non-powered). Switch to a USB port on the back of the motherboard and it worked right away.

Did you try manually installing the drivers
Also if you updated the firmware did you get any little x's. If so you will need to do again

I did get X's in the past and I know that means that was an error at that point so I re-flashed.

To your second question I tried installing them manually (both by navigating to the folder that the drivers are in (i.e the xecuter_jr_programmer_drivers folder) and right clicking on the PRUFTECHNIK file and that won't let me.

Wrong fw then, either use ISD one (NOT the isd bit) or UPGRADE
