My husband bought a Jr programmer for our Jasper 256 Xbox 360. All of the solder points are correct according to every diagram we have found, but the nand flashes red and green instead of just green. He hasn't hooked up the coolrunner yet, just the nand. He has the 7 wire nand (brown, black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue). We're totally unsure of what we are doing wrong, if anything. Please help.

You can try that, but I think you should also complete the correct support template.
The nand dumped 4 times successfully. Plugged the coolrunner into the nand (unsoldered), and both lit up red. Disconnected the coolrunner, and the nand wouldn't light unless it was plugged into the computer, then it lit up red. In the device manager it shows as a USB Input Device. Tried to reinstall the Jr Programmer drivers and it still shows as a USB Input Device. On the JRunner program, it says, "Bootloader attached. Bootloader version 1.0.5". What can we do?

So If You Look At Your Jr-Programmer With The Micro-USB Port pointing Down There Will Be A Switch On The Bottom Right Hand Side Make Sure That's Switched To JR-Programmer And Not JP-BL Once You Have Done That unplug The JR-Programmer Then Re-plug It In
Once You Have Done That J-Runner Should Recognize That The JR-PRogammer Is Plugged In
