Hi guys,
look I have just installed the jr v2 on my trinity board to read and write the nand but for sum reason the jr isn't working. All connections are fine and I have used it on 5 other trinity boards in the last week but for sum unknow reason this one just won't work. Also when I plug the power in to check the jr the fan starts up and goes on and off by its self which is a first and very strange. Urgent help to rectify the problem would be great as I'm keen to get modding.
cheers
alex

How do I upload a pic, well the console is starting when the power is plugged in so I've probably stuffed it now hence why it won't work

take a pic with your camera or potato then upload it to imgur.com, then copy the link and post it in your reply

But still I don't understand the issue, does the pc detect JRP? What flashconfig do you get? What OS are you using? Upload the Jrunner log

For console is powering itself up every time I plug the cord in. A bare motherboard with just the fan and it starts every time wtf this is bullshit

why the black tape on the jr-p lead

is your green lead contacting the point above it ?

put pic up of your rf unit at the front of the console.

No mate, no green light and no red light. The black tape is there so I can grab to pull out easier I haven't tampered with anything. The only way I can turn the console off is to push the eject button soon as I take the front facia off the console fires up

2.6 volts is the highest reading I'm getting and that's on. The green wire
Forget about the soldering, if the pc doesn't recognize JRP, you'll have to sort that out first. Using a short usb cable may help, if not, it's faulty, I guess.
