jr-programmer problems

ive hooked all the wires up to the points on the slim trinity.went to go try to program with sonus and i got failed alot..I went next door to get my frinds jr-progammer and plugged the wires up to it and it finally worked, is there some kind way that i can get a new one? with out paying full price
