FIXED Jr Programmer v2 not found

Just got my rjtag ultimate kit. JR Programmer v2 not being recognized. Have a red light on JRP but computer doesnt recognize it. No sound or anything. Plug my nand-x into same usb cable works fine.

put it in bootloader mode and update the fw on jr programmer,or reload the fw if you will.

Needs installing look in download above and files should be there

downloads then drivers

I tried both, I have the drivers, but its not recognized period. There is nothing in Device manager. No tune when u connect it to USB, nothing. Its like i never plugged anything in at all. All i have is a red solid light when i plug in the USB cable

Near USB port there will be a button and a switch flick switch across to right away from USB port and button and plug in USB

Yea, No go. Im waiting on a response from Xconsoles. I think it might be bad.

As you can see. Only the red light is lit and both switches away from usb.

I did get it to be recognized in bootloader on another computer, but when it went to reset it still stayed on red light only. It also took the flash to, and verified it but when i switch the switch back to origianl it stays on only red light no green

With it connected, open Device Manager and post a SS please.

Leave the bottom switch in BL mode for now (left).

Have you tried connecting it to another PC in BL mode??

Yes, same thing, however X360USB_PRO_UPDATE_TOOL_v014 recoginizs it in BL mode. So i was able to reflash it. But once it completes and resets device it still stays in BL mode. Even after hitting the reset swicth and switching the BL switch away from the USB port. Another computer wont recognize it either even when i try to install driver.

What HEX file are you writing to it?

Well probably the wrong one. But it was the only one Ive found.
JRP_FIRMWARE_104

So there's the problem.

The correct one is in the J-Runner/Common folder:

PICFLASH_E_1_0_5-JRP-V2.HEX

Get the v2 Programmer into BL mode and whilst still powered on, switch off BL. Once the above file is written, it'll reset the JR-Pv2 and hopefully should be ok afterwards.

That did it. Thanks. Some how i must have kciked it in to BL mode and it wouldnt come out til i reflashed it with correct hex file. Thanks again
