FIXED JRP v1 red light

Hi guys, sorry for been a noob , i have got a jrunner programmer v1 that has a red light on permanatley, the switch is away from the reset button, so i think the light should be green. Can i still use it for dumping my nand or is it nakered? Its a new one.

make sure its in bootloader mode and flash the appropriate firmware to it. then try again.

Hi, many thanks for the quick reply. I reflashed its firmware tonight with the lastest 1.04 with jrunner and its still stuck with its red light on (with the switch in normal mode)! Shall i try and plug it in me xbox and dump the nand to see what happens or will it kill me xbox?

A new one would be the obvious choice, but before you purchase another, can you post the firmware write log please.

Hi, many thanks again for the quick reply. Been one that doesnt give up easy, i reflashed it again off me laptop with winXP on rather than me windows8x64 desktop, and it went green!!!!!
Fantastic. Just dumped the nand off me test falcon and got 4 matching reads with no errors.
