Is there a way to flash the JRP2 without using JRunner? It is not recognized in JRunner and I want to flash it with PICFLASH_E_1_0_5-JRP-V2.hex If there is a way to flash it can someone point me in the right direction?

No Go, says device not found. Both lights are on on the JRP and when I flick the switch it goes to just red and still nothing. Shows up in windows as "unknown device"????

I tried Martin but it says "best driver already installed" .....will try again though from scratch. I will remove all and start over.

You need to set the switch to JP-BL to put the device in to bootloader mode.
If I recall correctly, Windows will see it as a USB Input Device.

Install Driver then put JRP in bootloader mode, the light should be red on the JRP and then write the hex file and during verification write switch the switch back.
