so i just soldered my jrunner in i ran 3 nands all matched then i plug in my coolrunner to program it and my program crashes and when i open it back up my jrunner chip wont read anything just says bootloader in the text box
all my solder looks good anybody have a solution would be great

when i plug in the power supply to 360 the programmer flashes red only and when i plug the usb in solid red

and it pops up as a usb input device instead of j runner now

Could u provide your jrunner log please. Have u switched the jr-programmer to boot loader mode by accident (small switch on side of Jr-programmer). What coolrunner are u trying to program? What version 360 are u trying to mod?

Please post pics of your soldering, there's a lot of errors in the beginning which suggest solder issues. Make sure the Jrp is not in boot loader mode. Otherwise u might want to reflash Jrp firmware to Jrp.

I'm sorry but from your pics and your jrunner log, thee is definately an issue with your soldering. The fact that u got 3 dumps in amongst the errors is luck. Also there is no evidence in your log that u have reflashed your jrprogrammer firmware. Shorten the exposed wire on your signal lines and use quality flux/ solder. Then repost new pics with a camera that can handle macro shots and a fresh jrunner log. Good luck.

Your soldering on J1D2 looks very ropey and your could have damaged solder points. Your exposed wires need to be as short as possible and you have too much solder on the joins. The pics are down but from the thread I have extracted the following 'healthy' values

J1D2.1 = 1v
J1D2.2 = 3.25v
J1D2.3 = 1v
J1D2.4 = 0v (40 Ohm)
J1D2.5 = 3v
J1D2.6 = 0v (5.6 kOhm)

Please post back your values.

everytime i reflashed the jrp i was using jrp v1 not 2

so i reflashed with v2 works fine

god im a dumbass

Lol, no worries. It's all down to experience. None of us started out experts. But keep that soldering tidy and shorten the exposed wire when completing the rest of the install. Good luck.
