I have seen the old style seals pulled with the help from a little heat and then reused. Just because they are there don't say anything. Have also seen them for sale in certain places.

Whatever has happen it is now clear that reading the drive will hopefully reveal something. I will read up on the flashing process and what's needed.
I just wanted to establish that I hadn't, t done something stupid in jrunner while rebuilding the new 16202 dash. As mentioned upgrading to the latest dash may have also caused the problem. In all scenarios the outcome will be the same , accessing the drives firmware.
