I would like to start off with a greeting to all, as I am a new member here, I'm not an expert, but I'm not a complete beginner either. However when it comes to the Jtag stuff, I am a beginner. I have Jtagged one 360 a few years ago, but it broke before I could do much with it, I had it all flashed and booting with Xell I think it was, but wanted to do some preventative stuff to it and when I popped off the heatsinks, that did it in, and haven't been able to get it working again and can not find any of the original stuff I used and the computer I used is long gone.

On to my situation at hand that I need a nudge in the right direction;

I have gotten a hold of another older 360 that I am pretty sure is Jtaggable, it is a Xenon with dash 5878 I believe it was, I dumped the nand, and loaded it into degraded which shows me this;

The next step is where I'm lost at, I'm confused as to what I am suppose to do from here, and can't for the life of me remember how I went about this last time or even what guide I was following. Would anybody be able to point me in the right direction?

Thanks much!

Get some rectifier diodes and solder them, look for "Jtag wiring". You can use Jrunner to flash the modified nand.

Good Luck!

Ahh, so I do in fact need those, last time I used the lpt port to flash the nand, and thought that was part of the lpt method of flashing. I'm using a usb jtag this time around. I'll pick up some diodes since I can't find the other ones I had, and work on it some more tonight after work. Though in J-runner, when I click on add dash, it just shows a blank window, there's no dash in there for me to select. I still had it output a xenon.bin but haven't tried to write it back yet. I wanted to wait and make sure I had everything for sure in place before I went ahead with flashing so nothing was ruined.

Success! Thanks for pointing out the diodes. For whatever reason I was confused and thinking that was for lpt wiring. But I did get it all flashed and it seems to work good. Now that I got that part completed I can move on to figuring out what I just opened up to myself! :D

Thanks again!
