jtag avatar problems

right i have been posted this on 2 other forums without getting any answer to my problem so im gonna try here

i been searching like an idiot about my problem but maybe someone here can give me some sort of assistance

every time i enter avatar editor on my jtag xbox it's telling me you avatar har changed it's clothes and need to update , to update sign in to xbox live

which i cannot do with an jtag xbox

and yes it's a live profile and i have my XUID , i also get ! on stuff i unlock through gameplay

and i am on 12625 freeboot with avatar support is added.

Where is your gamertag profile stored? On a USB stick?

nope internal hdd /Hdd1/Content/*my profile*

So press sign in you should have all there servers blocked in dash launch it will fail to sign in and you shouldn't see it asking again after that.

So are you moving your HDD from a live console to a JTAG one?

The dash your on is picking up on the live acc and also it is picking up on a network connection i'd say that is why it telling you there is an update for avatars.
Just update your FreeBoot to 12625 and use the Avatar update and you wont see it again..

the reason im using that account is becuase it's the account i had for like 5 years and to my knowledge you cannot move archivements to another profile

My fault read the edit part ass ways lmao i dont know what his doing then if dash launch is done right it blocks all the XBL servers so he shouldn't see anything for updates unless there is something on his avatar eg. like clothing forcing it to look for the update.

i am 12625 with the 12625 avatar stuff installed

i tried a profile i made then i got this box and i have unlocked some avatar stuff on an xbla game deathspank , same thing there as on my main profile

What if you put de HDD on an retail xbox? And then go online, of course you must update it with the new update.

After you got your awards. Delete the update from your HDD and put the 2.0.12625.0 update back on it.

I done this before the new update, and it worked.

So maybe this also.

i think i kinda solved it , it seems some avatar stuff are only works with 12611 and 12625 now if there only was a way to check that

did you ever sort this as i have the same issue and dont want to put it on live just to update this when where must be a work around. if there is can anyone post a tutorial.
