JTAG Avatar Update

Hi all,

I have a question regarding the avatar update mentioned in this post here http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58111

I followed Johnny2good's guide and everything is hunky dory except I need to apply the avatar update. it says in the guide "Custom Avatar Update Can Be Downloaded Google >> MS Update"
Does this just mean I can download the update from http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-360/system-updates/system-updates-info and apply it on a usb drive?
It also says in the tutorial I should rename the update folder $$ystemUpdate but no update shows up when I do that. When I leave the folder named $SystemUpdate the update does show up, though it says my console needs some security updates and I'm reluctant to go ahead with that.

I'm currently on dash version 2.0.14719.0 which looks like the same version I got from M$

Refer to this thread, you simply need to run the official 14719 USB update to install avatar and Kinect data .
