I recently got a hold of a Xbox 360 that has MFR date 02-14-2006 and a Samsung TS-H943 F/W=ms25 DVD drive. I was pleasantly surprised to see it has the old Xbox Blade Dashboard 2.0.6683.0 which I believe is exploitable.

I was wonder is the NAND-X & & JTAG Connection Kit all the equipment I need to JTAG this console or do I need to pick up something like the Cygnos 360 v2 (Dual NAND)?

Thanks for any help in advance.

The cygnos isn't a requirements only if you wanna dual nand I believe. As for the other stuff yeah that's all you need.

if your not bothered about dual boots, ie online and offline.
then all you need is nandx and the jtag connection kit, as it is an xenon it will be really easy to Jtag. but if you go on xblive you will get banned.

Thanks for the input everybody. Not worried about the dual boot since that Xbox will never go on live.. I have another Xbox for that.

There is a lot of different guides on how to JTAG a Xbox console but would anyone like to recommend the best or easiest to follow, please?

You have to first see if it's jtag or rgh that you are going to use

It's going to be a JTAG. MFR date of Feb 2006 and dashboard of 6683 will be exploitable.

It's a Xenon either way, so either JTAG or not at all!
