At the moment i have got a xenon mobo which is jtagable, i am using the nand-x as my flasher, the problem i am having is that for some reason i cannot detect flash controller on the board. I can boot up the xbox no problem.

Another thing i have noticed is that for some reason the green cable from the nand-x is causing the fans to start and stop when ever i try to read the nand.

So i was wondering could that be the problem that the fans are starting and its isnt reading the nand.

Well first iff it looks like you are missing 1 wire to read the nand. And you xbox should be off but plugged in as it dont need to be on.Second picture looks like the yellow wire is missing

I would re-solder your connections and as Rock said, there appears to be a wire missing - the yellow wire which I believe is GND. Also, make sure your power brick is on orange and the console is off, you should then be able to read your NAND without any problems.

i know the yellow wire is missing, reason being that i could never get the joint hot enough to get that wire through so i will just hold it on lol. But the yellow wire itself is just a ground wire so it could be put on any ground point. plus yes i know about the power pluuged in but not turned on

The AV port acts as GND, you should be able to solder the wire to that.
ok i have just de-soldered and resoldered all the points and soldered the yellow wire to the av port like you said and still not detecting, why do you think the fans are start and stopping when i try to read.

That shouldn't be happening, have you got a solder bridge or something anywhere? Did you pull a pad or trace whilst soldering the wires in place?
i have checked under the mobo and there isnt any bridges, but here is a pic so you can see. as for traces i dont know.

let the pic help out
