Did you cross the 2 jtag wires? See attached picture and corresponding arrow colours for each point.

Following manwithoutname pic i can confirm the wires are in the right place.Jumper cable is in 3 & 7 and is now shorter with less solder. J1F1 there is some soldered shut, shall i open these holes ?

If the wire has stuck correctly to the solder present in the holes on J1F1, then its fine.

By the way, did you test all the JTAG connections with Multimeter to check if they were soldered right ?

No you don't leave them alone. Another thing I meant to ask you, the diodes, which direction are they facing?

your sodering is garbage. Using way too much wire. It doesnt matter if it is resistors or diodes. Both do the trick. Invest 16 bucks in getting a multimeter and FLUX. It will help a lot.

well if you got 2 good dumps. and get e79 the only issue can be is that your sodering isnt good. Simple as that. Fix it and you shouldnt have an issue.

i have a xenon xbox360 and getting diodes for now. I have the xecuter nand-x kit and i can dump the nand without any problems. After flashinng a prepaird XBR.bin im getting the E79 error too. The resistor R2E2 on my xenon motherboard is messed up too because of stupid soldering work (like thread starter). When i flash the box back with the original dumped nand the box work's fine. I have the very same problem and hope i can fix it with the diodes. If not it's related to the R2E2 resistor that is messed up or missing. Have you got your problem fixed somehow?
