I got a new JTAG (Falcon), and after about a week of use, it does this. (BTW that is the first time its 3 ringed but then boots like that again and never showed up since)

After a little research, I found 2 things that it could be:

Bad NAND Blocks (read 5 times before install and all the same, No bad blocks)
Bad power supply (I have a 203w, but I don't think that's it cause the brick doesn't turn red and it works fine in another xbox I have)

Any other suggestions?

Mine does this sometimes when I use the play and charge kit in the front usb ports, I just found it amusing lol

short on the board? - check the wiring first in case something came loose?
I'm going to run through it when I get home. I think this is more less my problem, not sure tho. I will report back tomorrow!

Not amusing when I don't have anything plugged into it.

Oh yeah thats gotta suck, although first time I got the jtag and it did it I seriously pressed the on off button at least 20 times before I thought about taking the power supply out the back

Good luck with it tho man, should be something stupid hopefuly ;)

Welp here it goes again!

I took the whole motherboard out, cleaned it, and checked everything nothing noticeable shorting out the board.

Maybe its the QSB's?

is this box jtagged or reset glitched? i know it says jtagged but some people dont distinguish a difference in the 2. if it is jtagged how is it wired up? if its jtagged with a wire either running to the front ring of light board or to the point on the underside of the board that is an alt point for same ring of light port,u may want to think bout redoing that to the other aud_clp one and redo nand image to configure the smc to that wiring. i always find jtags on hdmi to run buggy and do all kinda weird sh*t on old ring of light wiring. post us some pics maybe?

It is a JTAG, I have the NAND-X QSB's and the JTAG Kit QSB's, its running to the front of the ROL board. I will post some pics when I open up again later to go through it, I was going to try re-flashing it again just for giggles.

i dont know if old ring of light would cause that issue, but i do know the aud_clp way of wiring and redoing smc always makes my hdmi jtags run alot better with no crazy sh*t on rol board or random red rings on bootup ocassionally.i would try it anyway.

edit: just build new image for it with ur orig nands but this time under smc instead of orig,u would pick aud_clp.and you can google for where you would solder that rol wire to after youve done that.see if it helps at all

Will do, I had it done on my Jasper and never had an issue, so I will try it. Thanks! I will let you know how it goes.
