I awhile ago i tried to update my jtag through a usb stick and i got an error, i believe it was 0022 i can look it up if thats important, but since then i have bought a nandx and tried to flash a freeboot image on the xbox, its a zepher, didnt work.

Then i flashed the origial back to it and it booted, so i tried to create a new freeboot image using jtag tool and couldnt get it to write completely to the nand, half way through i would get an error on every block, now when i try to do it again i get an error on every block if it recognizes my xbox, takes me several tries to get it. I cant even write the original nand back to it any more.

I need help now, i have no idea what to do with it anymore, im so sick of playing the ps3 i want to get back to the xbox lol any help is appreciated

What wiring setup do you have for the jtag? Is it the standard JTAG diode wiring? IF so then change the wire from J2D2.2 to the right hand leg of Q2N1 which is the aud_clamp smc point. That might fix your problem since Zeyphrs are really picky with the standard wiring.

You don't need to solder the wire to the underside of the board on the GPU jtag side. I didn't. I just soldered it to the top and then routed the wire through the holes near the southbridge. As for the Q2N1 point you need to solder it there.

Btw, you will also need to patch your SMC in your NAND to have the aud_clamp patch. The automated builders like jtag tool and freeboot toolbox can do it for you if you select it.

LPT has some problems some other are when cables are not properly connected. I too had this problem but do not worry always just flash it twice or three if your receiving errors like this but if more then check your cables and make sure none touch each other also make sure they are properly placed in the point. I hope this is a tip too all users in this forum.
