Jtag Problems

I've read a lot of posts and I still can't get this xbox jtagged. I have jtagged at least 6 xenon boards and they all work perfectly. Now on the non xenon boards I get the nand dumped every time and loaded every time with no errors. But when I boot up the xbox after I get 3 rings. I currently have 4 non-xenon boxes doing the exact same thing. I've checked my solder joints over and over again with my fluke meter. I've also tried to non-xenon jtag kit and I get the same outcome. Just to let you know I'm not a newbie at soldering. I'm an electronic technologist.

I am using jtag tool. I selected the right device and the right console. read the nand twice and file compared it. I wrote the xell and then I got the cpu key when I bootup up the xbox with the eject key. Then I opened it with 360 flash tool and entered the cpu key. All the info matched the box. I then entered the cpu key in jtag tool. After that hit create fb then wrote the bin with no errors. If I put the box back to the factory bin it works fine. Thanks for the help.

crazy i dont understand why different boards, some times 2 of the same kind of board even, can react so differently with different wiring

example: i have 2 zephyrs both wired with the transistor method both to the stranded JTAG solder points (ROL and DB1F1) one go's E79 on occasion the other boots flawlessly every time

not trying to thread jack or anything like that this is kust something i have been noticing a lot lately

the zephyrs are a pain for sure, but all xenons and falcons should be no problem if done correctly. I have done around 45 Jtags now, a mixture of xenon and falcons and Jaspers, all of which were fine. the jasper was a pain at first, but with JtagTool its easy!

I still reckon its something to do with the SMC, under drivers / options etc.
