JTAG quick questions

Hello,

I obtained a free xbox that I was told was red ringed. When I turned it on all the lights flashed green. Anyway I did the xclamp fix and it now works. It's an old xenon mother board so I decided to JTAG it. This is my first attempt at a JTAG and I've tried to do as much research as I can.

Nandpro throws up 3 250 errors. I've dumped it twice and the same errors come up. After a bit of googling it says that rrod, e74's etc can create 250 errors and these errors are nothing to worry about. Is that correct? Also can I still go ahead and reflash my Nand with XBR or would these errors prevent this?

Perhaps you just have bad blocks in your nand and you need to remap them?

But would it still be ok to flash Xbreboot straight onto my nand? Suerly it would rewrite the Nand? I could always sort out my original Nand dump with the bad blocks at a later stage.

No, you need to remap those bad blocks in XBR for it to work.

I have been offered a jtagged jasper xbox banned from xbox live. i have been told that hard drive function has been restored. apparantly this is removed when a jtag gets banned? firstly is it possibly to restore this function?

second can i literally drop games iso files onto a hard drive and play them right off it? i have had a read of the jtag topics about but cant find the answers im looking for. sorry if i missed it
