I found an xbox 360 that was on a low enough dashboard that I was able to jtag it & give it to my brothers. My brothers sent it back to me because they said the xbox was giving 3 red rings, which was weird because I reflowed the system, applied arctic silver 5 & did the x-clamp fix on it before I sent it to them. So I just received it & it did have 3 red rings with a secondary error code 0001. I read that this error is a PSU issue on which there might be a short. I tried a PSU that I know for sure works & I still got the same error. I reflowed the system again & loosened the screws on the xclamp fix & now the system has a green light with No red rings but there is no video/audio coming from the system, I also tried reflowing the Hana chip but I'm still having the same issue. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I reflowed it with a Auyoe 968 Rework Station
Martin is located in Scotland I believe. I don't think it would be beneficial for Martin to work on your system.

Like Martin said, look at reballing or replacing.

If you can reflow, you can at least install a "pre-balled" gpu, it would not be too difficult, just use your reflow profile and at the high temp end of it you will remove your gpu, then simply clean up the mobo with some gootwic or similar brand, then place your replacement preballed gpu in place and "reflow" again (so to speak).

Reballing and Replacing are 2 different things, if you want to reball your own chip, it can be a pain in the a$$, but if you buy a pre-balled chip and install it in place of yours its much easier.

installing a preballed gpu isnt a big deal if you have a 968. You shouldnt even need as much heat. Factory sh*t solder melts at about 217 degrees, most of the good aftermarket stuff people use melts at around 192 degrees if i remember correctly. You can end your profile at somewhere around 210, as opposed to the 235-240. These numbers are, of course, real world temps. My 968 doesnt match actual temp vs display temp.

63/37 leaded melts at 183. Lead free melts at 217, so you weren't a million miles out.

What are you using as a pre-heater, OP ?
Sorry for the delayed post, I've been sick like a dog these past few days LOL.
I know it might not be the best thing in the world but the person who guided me on how to do reflows advised me to get a Presto Electric Griddle LOL. I'm not sure if that's the worst pre-heater to get but I had it since like 2011 & it hasn't given me any trouble so I never strayed from it or really looked for a better pre-heater. By all means if you know of a better pre-heater, please feel free to let me know. I've never done a reball, Is there a sort of noob friendly tutorial that you can suggest I follow?

Yea any actual pre heater is better, like this one

Just to say, I have actually successfully installed a pre-balled chip using a griddle as a pre-heater, that was a long time ago.
I use the t8280 now, I'll bet even most pros here will agree the hot air reballing is much more difficult than ir.

Reballing is not something to just try, for no reason, try removing existing chips and installing preballed ones first, once you master that, get a jig, solder balls, etc, etc and try actual reballing.

I totally understand. When I say trying, I mean I'm fully committed to understanding the process & perfecting my skills in order to do a proper reball. I'm not the most electrical knowledgeable person but I've studied & taught myself how to flash, reflow, rgh & jtag by listening to all advice & suggestions & following the best tutorials that I can find. I have a dead xbox 360 that I can practice on but all I need is some guidance & direction & I'll be good to go.
The 1st step I need to know is what is all the necessary equipment/tools that I need to buy
