Used the jtag tool to go through the process of creating a freeboot.bin.

But on the "Create FreeBOOT Image" section, I've generated and saved the freeboot image... but its stopped there... isnt it supposed to write the freeboot.bin to the nand ?

Its still saying at the bottom of the page "You cannot continue without 2 matching images" even thou ive ran it twice.

i have orig1.bin & orig2.bin (both match)

I also have freeboot.bin & freeboot2.bin both of these match also.

i suppose i can still write it manually via nandpro30....

Any Ideas ??

Shad.

If your sure your original dumps are good, you can flash it manually:
nandpro -w16(64 for big block) freeboot.bin

or use xell to flash which is faster and has better bad block handling. The method depends on which version of xell you have. Xellous or Xell Reloaded?
