Jtag tool error unable to access freeBOOT.bin

i need some help i am using the new jtag tool i am recieving an error unable to access freeboot.bin when i attempt to write fb.bin ... it allows me to write xell,read nand but it wont write fb.bin????

i tried on 2 computers as admin an 2 nandx flashers with no luck??????

i get this after selecting my fb.bin output file

after i click continue nothing happens this is really strange as i have tagged over 100 consoles with this program and just recently i am having this issue, after getting the new version i have uninstalled and same thing i honestly think i just have horribly bad luck :/

have you tried using C prompt and tried wrighting the bin file using nandpro 20b which is what jtag tool uses.

put nand pro 20b folder in c drive put freeboot.bin that jtagtool created in the nandpro 20b folder
run C as admin
cd..
cd\nandpro (whatever you named it)
nandpro 20b

then write the freeboot.bin file using nandpro.

it should work fine.

Did you run the program as an Administrator or not?

I have run it as administrator and my user account is admin aswell. What could cause this to happen I also found it so strange that it happened on my other pc i downloaded the new version on

you could send me ur clean nand & cpu key and I could make a freeboot image for you to try. Ive had no problems with my jtag tool

good idea but i have over 10 consoles to get finished an shipped i really need to get this resolved thanks though:smile:

d/l a fresh copy of jtag tool and try that. If its the same then its a pc issue
