Fortunately slims will glitch Ok without the kv (block 0x01). It boots into Xell showing the CPU key but errors out on the DVD key as you might expect.

Should still be doable, but I'd also like to see what Xnandhealer says about the dumps. I hope there are more than 1!

So remove the KV completely, or leave in a donor KV encrypted with the wrong key?

I can attest the latter doesn't work....!

I've only built the ecc image from the complete NAND dump and then deleted block 1 from the resulting ecc image after it's been built. The console still boots xell.

I've not tried building the ecc without a kv. Sorry I should have clarified.

But the kv is encrypted so I wouldn't have expected the ecc generator would be able to use it for anything.

So in theory, nandpro usb: -e16 1 1 after flashing the ECC should remove the KV and allow it to glitch? I'm sure you're right, but will give it a shot on my next slim!

Cheers :)

OP - do you have ANYTHING of worth from your console before you started?

If not, you'll need someone to resolve this for you. I offer the service in the UK but not sure where you are.

According to xNANDHealer, my NANDs I have pulled are just fine. I'm not exactly sure you guys are understanding.

My Nand-X is V3. I wasnt sure exactly what I was doing when I was originally installing the drivers for it is the only thing I can think of, because when I followed the guide from Fib3r I was able to read the
Dump/Read the NAND, with NO errors about the wrong version of firmware.

I used
360 Multi Builder to create my XeLL/ECC Glitch image, then flashed the .ecc to the NAND... all successfully.

I then proceeded to
program the CR... just fine too.

So how did I totally screw over my box?

The nanddumps that got pulled all came out fine. Excuse me for my ignorance, however I'm obviously not a pro... otherwise I wouldn't be posting here for help.

So how far in the xNANDHealer process did you get?

I followed the guidelines of that xnandhealer tut completely... everything checked out though. There were never any bad blocks.

The fact that when I do turn on the console, Xell never comes.

It tries to boot & glitch, but nothing happens.

Well, this isn't going anywhere fast. So, in summary, the nand dumps are fine, you create the ecc/xell image without problem then you flash to the console and ..... you say nothing happens.

It powers on presumably? Does the green light come on for about 1 second every 5 seconds?

Yes, as I've said, I followed the tutorial that Fib3r wrote. Everything wrote correctly, from reading & dumping my nand to flashing the .ecc image... I even programmed the CR using the same method he listed.

The console does power on, the green CR light flashes once every so many seconds simultaneously. However after that it just kinda sits in that continuous loop of trying to boot.

I did not however check to see if it boots still without anything written to the nand.

I noticed someone had asked me about why my heatsink is off, that is because I had to remove it to solder the alternative point under the X-Clamp for the CPU_RST (blue wire) Yes, I admit, I messed up that point when I was soldering originally... so I had to use an alternate point to make that connection.

This process has been an absolute headache lol This is my first time ever attempting something like this, I did spend the last month practicing using flux & soldering to just about every point I'd possibly run into while doing this whole procedure on an old junk MB. I'm no pro at these sort of things, but I did do my homework to what I'd thought to have me pretty knowledgeable about this. I figured I'd be good, but this has me really stumped.

I've posted pretty much the best quality of pictures I can possibly take.

The only camera I have currently is my cell phone, and thats the ones I posted earlier.

If your curious how the cpu_rst is wired in, I followed this tut:

http://www.xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76145 ...from thebomber

The format I followed is this one:

and the other end:

I wish I had a camera that could take that high quality of pictures... I know I'm no pro man, but my points really are not that much different than the ones in those photos.

In the photos a couple pages back, you can see how I did my QSB and CR points, they are rather nice if I don't say so myself... I wish there was a way for me to give you a higher quality shot of that alt point.

From what I understand I dont see how it could be my points. If I can read my nand, everythings wired in correctly right?
