Alright, I'll start from square one: I installed the QSB, wired the coolrunner, installed it.

I started to embark on the programming of everything, then I ran into the issue that originally brought me here.

I stopped what I was doing, posted here.

So I got a little impatient on awaiting a reply here, so I started doing research on my own. I found Fib3rs tutorial, and when I read through it, thats when I realized I didnt have the nandpro folder set up correctly. I totally uninstalled and removed any and all nandpro/360 multi builder files from the various sections of my laptop here.

I reinstalled everything, in the order that guide instructed me. Went through the process, successfully.

Until it came time to power on my system to get my cpukey. I reinstalled my fan cable... the red dvd cable hooked to the MB itself, along with the one end for the HDD cable (with the white ends on it) stayed hooked up as well... but not leading to anything. Refer to the pictures, as you can see in they have been plugged in the whole time. They weren't running to anything, so I didn't see how they could make any difference. So I just left them connected...

I hooked up the ROL board, once I got the console relocated to the area where my TV is, used the eject button to power on my console with the CR switches set to NOR and SLIM.

The green light on the ROL blinked, as if the console was trying to boot. The green light on the coolrunner lit up simultaneously, and the red light was on the whole time... I gave the console a minute to do its thing, and never seen Xell... or any dashboard for that matter... just a black screen.

That brings me to this point in time right now.

when i did my slim it took arround 5 min before it was booting xell, i had to cut down the blue wire to make the boot time faster, so one minute ain't long

I left it on just earlier today, for 15 minutes just to see if it would glitch. I'll go hook it back up again right now and just walk away from it to see if it ever decides to boot xell.

A watched pot never boils... so maybe I should just ignore it lol

I'm off to try it again now. I'll keep checking here periodically after that. I'm pretty much stalking this thread today, just so anyone knows... if they leave me a response I'll get back to it ASAP.

Update:

Okay, so I plugged in my console again... with only the ROL, PSU, HDMI and the fan hooked up.

I booted using the eject button on the faceplate, walked away... came back to my laptop... opened up an online stop watch. The clock at the time of posting this says... 18 minutes, almost 19.

Still no Xell. So, I'm gonna go turn off the console now.

Okay, so let me get this straight...

To do that, I just go about the same process as I did to flash the glitched image to the board... but I instead write the original nand instead of a glitch image?

Is there a tutorial on it? I'd feel much better being able to follow the process.

Okay, the stock nand is being written on to the MB as I'm typing this.

Once thats complete, I'll go ahead and hook it all back up, should I have any of the switches on the CR set differently than now? PRG or NOR?

Well hot damn, it just booted up and went right into the dashboard like I had no glitch on it at all.

Okay, now what? Restart my process?

Okay, so I've given it over 20 minutes waiting for Xell.

I unfortunately was never greated by xell.

This is what the cmd prompt window said:

Yes sir.

Continous green flashing from the ROL... steady red from the coolrunner and simultaneous flashing of the green light. I counted how long in between flashes of light, and its 5-6 seconds apart... staying lit for a little over a whole second.

EDIT:

I tried turning off the console and turning it back on, this time just using the power button... its been 15 minutes now and still no Xell.

I dont like how and were you've soldered that blue wire dude..

Take it off and try soldering it back in its prefered position/point..

If you cant, get a professional to do it.
