JTAG update to 14719 questions

I've tried to do a little digging but with the new RGH its become a little complicated if certain information pertains to me which is using the old JTAG method. My question is that I recently read that the new dash update defeated RGH and then a new solution RGH 2.0 was created and I am wondering if this new update effects us old JTAGers in anyway, can we update safely using the same tried and true methods or did this update effect everything and now everyone must start using RGH 2.0? yeah ive already bookmarked that stickied tut as I was pretty sure that was what I would be looking for, I'm not confused how to update my jtag I was more concerned about this new dash and how it defeated RGH and if that dash fix pertained to us JTAGers in anyway or we were safe and could continue to go about our business...

I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with jtags since the update adds a boot loader which messes with timing which messes with RGH but was just trying to confirm that 14717/14719 didn't effect jtags even tho I'm pretty sure I already know the answer.

You can update no problem, just as before, RGH hasn't been defeated you just shouldn't use the MS 14717/14719 update.

AFAIK you'll only need RGH 2.0 when you've applied the MS 14717/14719 update.

I removed the resistor that prevents efuses being blown, but as far as I remember everytime I've updated my kernel thru J-Runner or similar apps, I've always had to run the official ms update (of the same dash ver I updated with of course) afterwards to get avatars working again and such, I'm assuming that is all safe still too eh. Damn MS and their feeble attempts, they just need to give up they've gotten their asses handed to them countless times on the cfw and jtag/rgh front and the console is gotta be entering its golden age, time for them to focus their efforts elsewhere lol
