jtag, what next?

godd morning all, and HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

santa gave me exactly what i wanted. fro a hundred USD i got a 360 with the 7173 dash supposedly suffered the RROD(but has no rrod, hee hee), wifi adapter and 2 controllers o and a 120 gig hdd.

i got a couple moire questions of the jtag hack.

how the F%ck do you stretch the diodes from J1F1 to J2D2 legs arent long enough.( for the jtag wiring, not the LPT) lol

the second, how many of you did NOT use the third diode

So lets say evrything goes okay, i dump the nand and everything matches up, the run degraded to check CB version, then install Xell,( does this read and copy the key vaults and other important backup info?)

then install XBReboot and not freeboot right...?

cany one one recommend a dashboard or whats the newest one.
do i have to patch all my games.( thanX to the blaster i was able to backup all my originals, so they are sitting on a HDD) or does the hacked dash or god2iso do that?

You dont 'stretch' the diodes, you just solder some wire onto the end of the diode mate.

The best method is with 2 diodes, not 3 resistors. Simply more stable. Thats what the NAND-X Jtag qsbs use as well.

When you have flashed xell and soldered the jtag part on, Xell will boot and tell you the CPU key. Xell does not read, copy or tell you anything about your original nand.

When you have your cpu-key you can decrypt your KV with it in flash360.

Remember to ALWAYS keep your original nand backed up and secure. I have my nands on several computers and stored online (yeah i know).

And yes, then you can flash freeboot as you have your CPU key.

The newest freeboot is 12611. Search.

You can then boot all the Xex and dashboards like freestyle, xexmenu, whatever. Freestyle is my personal favorite.
