JTAGged Falcon Won't Power On

Hey everyone, it's been a while...

I preordered NAND-X a while back and have to say it's an excellent product. I used it to jtag a 360 that I bought from ebay. A couple of weeks after I jtagged it, I got 3rod, error code 0022. Tried to perform a reflow...still 3rod. Considering I had another 3rod (jtaggable) 360 laying around, I figured I'd send them off to be reballed.

The guy who reballed my mobos said that both of them were boogered pretty bad (because of my reflowing attempts I presume), so what he ended up doing is transferring the CPU and NAND chip of both consoles to new motherboards (Falcon and Zephyr, as per my old motherboards).

I got both (presumably working) motherboards back in the mail today, as well as the old motherboards. I identified my previously jtagged (falcon) mobo and got to work...unfortunately I didn't check to see if the mobo was working prior to soldering, due to a slight nerdgasm :(.

So, theory number 1: Motherboard A (Falcon, previously jtagged) is dead, CPU and NAND chips are transfered to Motherboard B (Falcon). I should be able to solder the JTAG components only (not the NAND components) and be able to boot up the console just fine, because it was previously jtagged.

Correct or incorrect?

This is the assumption I was under when I soldered J2D2 and the red and yellow wires ONLY. After I partially reassembled the console and plugged in the PSU, the console would not boot up at all. No fans spinning, no heat, no lights...nothing. PSU light is steady orange, and does not briefly turn red when it's plugged into the mobo. I loosened the screws on my Hybrid X-Clamp fix, thinking they may be too tight and shorting a cap under the heatsink...no dice. The console does not turn power on via power button, eject button, or wired controller. I tried all switch combinations on the J2D2 QSB and even unplugged the red/yellow wire.

Could this be a result of a poor soldering? My solder job looks decent, but I'm about out of ideas. After I get some sleep, I'll remove all the JTAG components and see if the console boots without them.

On the other console, I soldered pin headers in J2B1 and J1D2 and I'm getting "could not detect a flash controller" with NandPro *sigh*. The solder job looks fine, but I'll redo it in the PM to confirm. Anyway, I'm more worried about the console that won't power up.

I apologize if this is the wrong section for this post, but it's NAND-X related...

Thanks in advance, all

How about you ask the person who transferred the CPU and NAND to the new motherboard that if it was working before or not?

Anyways, if you ask me, I would say that the NAND Chip, for some reason, hasn't been soldered right...And that's why the Xbox360 isn't working.

I am having a similar problem as yours. I will report back if I ever get it working.

EDIT:

I found some solder on some points and removed it and now it boots everytime. I think the KV was also corrupted
