Jtagged HDMi Falcon running kinect dash issue

I have a jtagged falcon, runing dash 12611, but no output from HDMI port?? works fine with normal AV output, any ideas please?

i take it you have already tried different hdmi cables

it could be 1 of 2 things

1st the hdmi port could be broken

2nd {I cant confirm this one} I had a similar problem with a jtagged jasper not long ago. It worked on 1 tv but not the other. I was told it was due to the different versions of hdmi ports and cables from v1.0 to v1.4

Not sure how true the second point is as im not that in to av equipment but it could be worth a quick read into

You need the alternate JTAG method. Take a look at the homebrew and nand-x sections.

it is using the jtag alternative method...AUD-CAMP and TRAY_OPEN

What happens when you turn on the console while it is connected via HDMI? Does the ROL light up like it usually does when the Xbox360 turns on or not ?

yes the ROL is fine, as it would normally. which is why I find strange..

bit more of an update, I have found this issue on all 3 jtagged falcon consoles, so definatey NOT a HDMI port issue. Must be software?? I have only ever used them on the AV lead conncted to monitor or TV

I have also run this, dose it help troubleshoot?

Everything seems fine as far as the SMC goes. By the way, what was the original dash version of the Xbox360 before you Jtagged it?

just found it 6717....

also just realised, that when you turn the console on with hdmi lead, no rol, just centre light green........

just flashed original nadn back, updated to 7371 and started again.....still no hdmi, although I do have the ROL and controller syncs, but still output to screen on hdmi and fine on AV output, this is really begining to annoy me now, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I personally dont think it would help, but make sure to redo the whole procedure, if you want to. If you just flashed original nand, then the freeboot used before, it will still be the one from the older dash. You need to create a new freeboot from the 7371 nand. Hope that made sense

thats exactly what i did.

right i have rebuilt the whole thing from sracth and used a 9199 freeboot guide, using the update my smc program, works fine on AV but no dashboard on hdmi.

done it all from scratch and now seems to work,
