Run Lite-On erase to get it into Vendor Mode, from there you can write firmware to the drive (don't forget to run Outro after).

im new at this i power it up wit the xbox cause im waiting for my molex adapter to come. yes i install the drives. i did'nt try to inject. and yes it did work in the xbox. i followed the tutorial thats post here but i think i should have waited for my adapter,cause at first it detected the the drive than when i went to flash the drive i think in the process i did something wrong now when i power it back up i get one red ring i think im screwed

my box was flash by someone else went he did it he sent me my key i was trying to update it wit the latest frimware

If it was detected as you say and you are sure you have the correct key. Don't worry about the drive not being detected. Power the drive and lo erase till it shows. Might have to try a few times but it will show and be in vendor.

well thats why we recommend never to power the drive with the console whilst flashing. id wait for the molex adaptor matey before continuing.
