Diaboliq bud just found out I can't flash a 78/79 with the USB pro thanks to teajunkies tutorial, damn didn't want to invest in a sata card, but I might just have to to keep my lil one happy,

Well according to teajunkies tut I have to use sata, I'm just gonna give up for now and get a sata card another time,

i have 2 hitachi 78s and the X360USB pro was the only thing that could read them for me, i had a nightmare trying to get them recognised with a via sata card.

Good old hitachi lol just did a 59 with the X360UBSB WIN 7 . 64 BIT small bit of hassle was using my front USB ports so plugged it in at the back used 1.79 JF all done.
Its not always that way normally never get a problem but it was just that one drive so the morel of the story is try the on-board USB on the back make sure the drive is found in B mode CD/DVD. <--- Hitachi found in the Drive section top right should show >> HL-DT-STDVD-ROM GDR3120L0059] or slimier to what your drive is.
