ANSWERED jungle flasher freezing

Trying to update the firmware on my unlocked pcb.

It is already flashed with lt 2.0 0272

Trying to flash with 3.0 0272

So here is the problem when I click write jungle flasher just freezes.

I have moved the unlocked pcb switch to wp1 and have the correct firmware loaded in jungle flasher and I have the drive intro as ox72 and have the spi status as 0x00. click write and then jungle flashes dies.

on board sata is the cause, New slim pcb's especially if it has been updated to "spi lock" status, has problems with sata cards. It is recommended to use usb pro.

i also noticed its a winbond chip, have you done kamikaze on it ?

Also noticing youre not using the newest JF ? that may also cause a problem

Don't think I will be upgrading to a usb pro because to expensive (rather an emulator)

It is not a winbound it is a team executer unlocked pcb. (the one I replaced was a winbound and yes failed kamikaze)

Ps I thought I had the latest jungle flasher I will go update and try again thanks.

ok,

update with latest JF, once drive is recognised make sure phat button is highlighted. click on intro and powercycle drive. Now you should have 0x72 status.
Click on spi unlock button then move switch to 1, once unlocked move switch back to 0 and continue to write fw. once done lock drive and outro

If it still freezes with newest JF then its onboard sata problem
