Re: I/O PORT problem

mead posted the link this came from and thanks to jagan for the Q & A

Q: Jungleflasher says that "Portio**.sys" isn't installed. What do I do?!

A: Normally, you would have to go through a long process, of disabling, and such, but TX got us covered with USB PRO!
All you have to do which in Jungleflasher, tick "USB Only" and you are set!
No more dumb test mode/Disable Enforcement bullshit!

Q: Jungleflasher doesn't recognize the X360USB PRO! What do I do?!

A:Make sure these things:

  • On the X360USB PRO, the ON/OFF Switch is on "OFF".
  • Make sure you have the latest drivers on your computer for the X360USB PRO.
  • Make sure the X360USB PRO has the latest firmware.
  • Make sure you run Jungleflasher as Admin.
  • Try switching USB Ports.
  • If the above doesn't work, try rebooting, reinstalling the drivers
  • in device manager scan for hardware changes then update the drivers (manually browse your computer for the driver) browse to your jungle flasher folder and it will find the drivers if they are in there. then install them

you may have to go to user account control and set it to the lowest (never notify), to fix the port I/O driver signature problem.
  • (SOMEONE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG PLEASE.)
    • i know thats wrong because thats the first thing it says is it doesn't matter anymore

Re: I/O PORT problem

Ya. Exactly. I'm positive that you wouldn't have to research and or read anything on you own if you bought one of those. It would have worked right out of the box.......
i would have bought it but they were discontinued and when i bought the x360 usb pro 2 i had recieved an email tht the maximus 360 lizard was back in stock for a LIMITED TIME! So far im disappointed in this x360usb pro 2 its taken me way to much time to try to get it to work and i still havent fixed it yet :/

Re: I/O PORT problem

Reading thru the posts all information is there that u need to get the x360usb pro up and running. I can't see anybody else giving more information that is already there. Go thru everything step by step. Try a different USB port or different cables. Why don't u post a step by step of what u have done so far.

Re: I/O PORT problem

lol my 360usb pro worked straight out of the box!!

but then i knew how to use a computer, how to install drivers, how to disable driver enforcement. pretty simple.

its called learning yourself and not being a thick ****. youd never have been able to use the lizard either if you cant use the 360usb pro. its by far the simplest solution available for people with an IQ larger than a toaster.

surprised you havent asked someone to skype you and show you how to press a button like the other 'tards who cant use a PC.

clown.

So far I've not seen anything which indicates you've installed the necessary drivers. There's literally nothing we can do to help until you've done this. If you need help, consult someone who knows how to use a PC. That said, understanding your PC and how it works is paramount to the remainder of the steps.

So please stop complaining about the product when you're not even in a position to use it yet.

I've merged the two threads as well. I have no idea why you felt the need to start another one. Maybe you need more than just driver help here?
