My drive is a Lite-On 93450C.More info.....jf log would be great drive type and setup usbpro/ck3i?......
seeing as you have a ck3i, try clicking on "liteon erase" and see if it goes into vendor mode. report back but dont do anything after thatMy drive is a Lite-On 93450C.
My setup is Ck3i, Onboard sata and the Probe 3.
I don't have the jf log.. I just tried to restore it to stock firmware and now jf can't detect my drive.
is ck3i enabled when you do that ? green lights ?When I try to do Lite-On erase it says "Device Intro Failed"
Cheers
mode b should be blue. click on mode b and change it. although thats not the problem. you should have two green lights, one being power and the other indicating that ck3i is enabled. Have you got additional functions ticked in dvdkey32 tab ? (top right)Next to the power switch there's a green light. Between the Eject and MODE B buttons is a red light.
yes, it should be blue light, not red, then click on liteon erase again and tell me what you getNo, I didn't have the Additional functions ticked..
You're telling me to press the mode b button?
What about the Aditional Features box, should I tick it?
and that is the correct port you where using ?No luck..
It shows: "Sending Lite-On-Erase request to port 0x09F0
..
Drive Returned Status 0x7F

Device Intro Failed!
load your dummy.bin in source and dont accept auto load.Hah! Silly me. Tried the other primary port and now it appears that the drive is in vendor mode!
What should I do now?
Many many thanks dale! My drive finally appears. The DVD Key says Not Found but I read here in the Xecuter Forums that it isn't a problem.
