Ok im no beginner but I made a mistake with replacing my dvd drive on my xbox I have a philips/liteon drive that came stock so I assumed all drives were compatible but I found out it wasnt and I got a hitachi so I found out u can flash a drive and put existing key on thd new one so I downloaded everything berut jungle flasher doesnt see any drives im clueless at this point
LITEON 74850 Jungle flasher wont recognize any drives including liteon drive not sure if im stupid

1 how r u connecting your drive to your computer for power and sata?
2 you must replace the drive with whatever drive is supposed to be in there if your system is stock

i hooked it up via sata port cable with combo power off my xbox cuz i dont have that cable ive tried scanning device in device manager tried restart blah blah blah thats as far as i got before i gave up cuz i was too pissed off. but i understand i need to replace the software key off the old drive to the new drive but what my issue is i cant get jungle flasher to recognize ANY drives i go to the jungle program i go to MTK Flash 32 i go to I/O port and theres nothing at all

Have you tried to reboot your pc with the dvd drive hooked up to the sata port already powered on?
yes tried dvd rom out, half in i tried everything i saw on the forums what im wondering is maybe finding someone with a philips drive and coping theirs but i dont think that will work cuz of the key
