LITEON 74850 JungleFlasher can't find my drive?

I have a liteon 74850c drive.

It was already flashed when I got it, I'm not sure what with.

I'm using ck3 pro and probe 2 converted to pmt.

Im running win xp 32.

I am using onboard sata.

I have ASUS A8N motherboard.

Latest 1.87b jungleflasher.

It will not recognise my drive.

My drive is found in the bios, shows up asPLDS DG-16D2s, as primary master 2 I think.

get the latest jungleflasher which is 1.87.

what dash are you on at the moment.coz your prob need to return to stock before you flash your drive.

Sorry my mistake, I just wrote it down wrong. I am using 1.87b.

X360USB PRO & JungleFlasher cant go wrong!!
will save you a lot of time!!!

Yeah I know I could use a usb pro or via card.

But I don't own either of those at the moment.

Is it my chipset causing the issue?

But It is recognised in the BIOS, so it should work right?

have you tried changing your I/O port?

But seriously buy a x360usb as soon as you can its best bit of kit yet

Are you running JF in Admin mode (Right click JF and select Admin mode)?

and for future reference right click and do properties and then compatibility and tick run this program as administrator

saves you having to do it every time (man im lazy lol)

SOLVED

I upgraded to the latest chipset drivers for my motherboard.

And it turned my CK804 controller inta an nVidia nForce 4 sata controller.

And this is reading just fine.
