FIXED Jungleflasher No drive detected.

Hello everyone. First post here for me. After scouring the forums and google, I have no other choice but to post my problem as well.

I recently purchased an x360usb pro v1 and a ck3 mini and using a molex adapter to power it. I have a phat Lite on drive, 16D2s...witch current dashboard update. I've update drivers/firmware for the x360usb. Signed the portio64.sys file (i'm running Windows 7 64). Disabled driver signature enforcement..etc.

I have everything connected properly, ck3 mini ejects the drive. Device manager recognizes the x360usb.

So now, when I run Jungleflasher, set it to USB only, it just continues to tell me no drive detected. HOWEVER, there was one instance where I changed to a different USB port, and the drive suddenly showed up. But it disappeared again when I clicked to retrieve the dvd key.

I'm at a total loss. Is it an x360usb problem? Could it be faulty? The lite on drive isn't bricked, I put it back into the xbox and it works fine.

unistall the x360usbpro_drivers reset pc/laptop connect x360usb and reinstall again see if that helps,or try another usb slot

Hi Meads, thanks for the replies.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers like you mentioned..still no luck. Tried multiple USB ports also, still nada.

I am noticing that when I plug the drive into the x360usb pro, in the device manager.. a USB Mass Storage Device pops up, with an exclamation? I'm attaching some screenshots.

EDIT** And yes, the firmware is also up to date.

Try clicking on the MTK tab and into device. U aint plugged the power connection in upside down I hope

Try Probe the MPX01 point at the same time as intro device thats worked for me in the past

All of the connection are good to go, the ck3 mini ejects the dvd tray..etc. I unplugged everything and plugged it back in, and this time in JF I got "Drive type Un-determined", and when I hit the PhatKey button it tells me no drive detected once again.

I also tried probing while doing Intro, am I supposed to keep the probe on it during the whole scan?

Yea keep the probe on

Just try unticking usb only

Unchecked USB Only, and kept the probe on during the whole Intro.

Why are you trying to intro a Lite-on? You can't (well not until you've erased it which you definitely should NOT do yet). You're trying to detect it in JF first (bottom left of the MTKFlash32 page).

Some strange conflict.maybe unplug everything shut down pc/laptop.then start over again but dont turn ur ck3 untill jungleflasher is open then re tick usb only

Correct, i'm trying to get it to show up in JF so I can extract the DVD key...I just cannot seem to get the drive to show up in JF. Also, I forgot to mention, I did try this on another PC, and it was the same results. So i'm trying to narrow down the possibilities that maybe the x360usb is defective? As stated in my OP, the drive works fine when I put it back into the 360.

Try ANY SATA drive with the 360Pro and see if it's detected in Device Manager.

Ok so I took out the DVD drive from my PC and hooked it up through x360usb. Windows gave a notification that the drivers were installed for the device. I opened JF to see if the drive shows up, and nothing...(wasn't sure if it was suppose to show up?) I'm at a total loss.

I just dug up an old computer that was still running XP 32 bit. Same outcome on this computer. I think it might be safe to say that it's something with the x360usb pro? The drive still works fine when I put it in the xbox. Thoughts?

x360usb must be ok if your pc detected the dvd drive attached,Martin c is right about the intro a liteon i was thinking bad flash recovery but thats not your issue.i cnt think of anything else tbh only keep trying as ive never come accross anything like this b4

Just out of curiosity, did you try another SATA cable?

You can not PhatKey a Lite-On drive which isn't detected in JungleFlasher.
