As it says I know my port number and it says no drive detected, I have flashed multiple slims and phats with this mobo/hardware/OS so I know it's all compatible. As a matter of fact this drive has 1.91 on it that I flashed using this PC. DosFlash64 Finds the drive on 0x9800 and sends MTK intro, but when I power cycle the drive I only get status 0x51 or 0x52. Jungle flasher 1.88b still says no drive detected after multiple boots and drive power cycles. Jungle flasher also doesn't see my sata HDD either.

Drive Model is (Phat)Lite-On74850C

Also I have tried 3 Chipset driver revisions all with same results.

Your equipment may be compatible but honestly just getting a x360usb pro and ck3 will just make life ten times easier. You will never have these problems.

Remember jungleflasher was made specifically to work with those, not whatever sata you have.

Of course, I haven't really helped you so I apologize for that, I'll leave it to posters more experienced than I to give sound advice :)

Good luck!

Well, I don't use live much anymore so I am just trying to hold onto my money for the coolrunner and keep my fingers crossed for a RGH boot loader for my backups and be done with firmware. An Update however, I found that using an older version of dosflash all drives are detected perfectly, but newer firmwares show as unknown flash. The newest dosflash fails MTK however :( I don't get it, it worked perfectly before.

OK, now it's just weird. I got it to write the 2.0 firmware in DOSFlash and after I did so jungle flasher could see the drive, but if I try and do ANYTHING in JF to send it into vendor for any reason it disappears again and the same for dosflash, it shows no known flash? If I power cycle the drive I can write to it again with DOSFlash, but I don't think it's writing to it correctly....Guess I will try it in box anyway after another flash.

OMFG I Changed the drive out with a second one of the same model and JF picked it right up. I spoofed to target, erased status to 0x72 blah blah wrote the new firmware all checks out. Then I put it in the box and My retail copies and backups both say Play dvd. XGD3 retail and backup both say play game, but if you try and launch it, it goes to black screen then crashes to dashboard. What...The...F***.....

Then I decide to mess with the other drive I had trouble with and JF reads it instantly now, so I flash it as well and hook it up and I am greeted with same problem as the other drive. What am I missing? My Target firmware is LTPlus-025-v2.0.bin. This is correct yes?

I am completely flabbergasted. I changed back to 1.91 and it still doesn't work on either drive. It's like the drive key is wrong, but I know it's the right one. I don't have another lite-on this model. All the old backed up firmwares match keys. I am about get my P95 and use this f**king piece of sh*t for target practice.

dont know if it could affect it or not but maybe a virus in your pc messing up the write process? though most viruses wouldnt work in dos so it would be weird you are getting it from dosflasher too

It's a fresh install of windows 7. I format once every couple of months. I can flash other drives and they are fine. I think my dvd key is wrong, but I have no way to check it until coolrunner is out. I have a backed up folder on my external drive for this firmware, I pulled the key before flashing once I finally got a program to detect the drive and they matched, but after I flashed It says insert DVD on everything but XGD3.

I also flashed on two seperate drives of the same model and it doesn't work. I tried flashing back to 1.91 and I still get play dvd error. Is there a possibility the key is being placed in the wrong area or something?

Do you have any TX products?

This is a TX Support site (i.e. this site exists because it is funded by people buying their products) :rolleyes2:

Would you go to Sony and ask them how to work/use a Toshiba product
