Hi guys,

this is going to be my first setup.

I have a ck3i,xbox360usb pro,and a notebook.

I am going to use the notebook but as I was reading through the jungleflasher tutorials I came across this

Removing VIA drivers (Windows XP/Vista/Win 7) NOT TO BE DONE IF YOUR MAIN HARD DRIVE IS ON VIA SATA CARD or IF YOUR VIA CHIPSET IS ONBOARD(i.e. NOT A PCI CARD)

DO I need to remove the VIA drivers?

How do I make sure that I have an onboard via chıpset? When I go to system properties and look at the list ,is there any specific item that I should look to to make sure?

thanks

thanks mate,I also have a desktop that I plan to use in the future.

how can I make sure that I have VIA onboard?

Which item should I look for in the system settings?
I am afraid of disabling sth useful that might ruin the way pc is functioning.

Now I will start with notebook but I am asking for the future.

With the X360USB Pro, you do not need to worry about conflicting drivers. That was mainly for when people were using Sata Via Cards.

Just hook your X360USB pro upto any pc, install the drivers and your good to go.
great
I can use my desktop without any hassle then.Glad I have bought the x360usbpro

Don't worry about any of that. You can just hook up your USB pro and GO!

;) the via part pertains to those using the sata ports on their pc.

Take your time and read though the JF tutorial before attempting and you should be good to go.

Good luck
