Hi there just wanted to no when burning games what is the stealth part all about and should all the games i burn have this stealth patch?

A stealth patch makes the disk look like an oringal if you play online

and its not really needed now with the newer firmware

o right i have only just flashed mine and i used this firmware: Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth_Rev2

is that ok to use is it up to date?

is there a way to put the stealth patch on a game when backing it up?

use ss merger to stealth patch yuour iso an your using the latest firmware already

the lastest firmware is on the xbins ftp. i dont think that there is a way to stealth a game, besides thats what the firmware is doing making the backup look like an orignal. i think the stealth part of the firmware is to help bypass microsoft live. updates should be good to download. be careful when the new dashbord update comes who know what microsoft r up to.

dashboard updates aren't going to do anything except update the dash :?

and yes 2.3r3 is the latest firmware out... however stealth doesn't work very well anyhow so wtf u on about saying " help bypass Xboxlive" u even know what you saying?

and i'd use XBC / Schtromextract to inject stealthsectors such as video, PFI, DMI
ss merger is for merging a raw game-image with a SS...
