Just a Quick Question

Ok since this is the all mighty xbox 360 dvd drive forums i have a quick question.

My gears of war is scratched somewhat bad, but it still works. But the dvd drive doesnt spin at full speed, its relativly quiet. Does M$ ban based on drive speed, or just challenge/response and pfi,dmi and ss. Cause im fairly certain the drive is spinning at 4x-8x and not the full 12x. All maps still load and the game runs smooth, im just worried.

My drive is not modded it is completly stock, hell the xbox hasnt even been opened.

but you said you haven't have it flash, so it got nothing to do with the ban, maybe it because of the damaged disc.

well i was wondering because they removed the 4x option from the new firmware so i thought ms might ban based on drive speed. :/
